Filipino Cultural Program Presented at The Allendale Community for Senior Living

Residents Enjoy Traditional Folk Music and Dances at Senior Campus
ALLENDALE, N.J., Dec. 30, 2013 – Filipino Cultural Program Presented at The Allendale Community for Senior Living The rich traditions of Filipino culture were presented in an exciting program featuring a local dance and music group at The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Senior Living. Jonathan and Cherry Picache of ComForCare Home Care organized the special performance featuring the Ligaya Cultural Group. The group performed a number of cultural dances with traditional bamboo poles as well as several songs.
The Ligaya Cultural Group celebrates Filipino cultural arts through music and dance performances in the New Jersey and New York Metro areas. The members strive to share and pass down the joy of Filipino music and dance to younger generations.
Residents of the Allendale Community enjoy year-round recreational, social and spiritual activities at the senior campus. Many of the programs are free and open to the public.
